Rhythm Smithy
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android
A rhythm game where you create tools and weapons by hitting proper rhythmical patterns.
Made for Miz Jam 1. I joined much later and was able to spend only 24 hours instead of given 48.
How to Play
You will learn (or see) specific short rhythm patterns for different items.
To start building an item, you have to play it's pattern once and wait a little, until game registers it and tells you, if your pattern is recognizable or not.
When the pattern is recognized successfully, you will have to repeat it several times to continue building your item. The most important thing: pause after each pattern input and let the game give you feedback on your performance.
That's it! Happy smithing!
Note on the State of the Game
The project is in prototype state: it's polished so you can play, but it lacks content. The game text might have some typos, the interface needs more adjustment. Anyway you will be able to test out the idea.
Mac Support
I can export my project to Mac, but, unfortunately, I cannot test it. If you run into any issues, please send me a message.
